10-24 | Following a school shooting in Kumba, South-West Cameroon happened on 24 October, Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) launched a mass casualty plan, responding with our ambulance service and surgical care in the Presbyterian General Hospital (PGH), Kumba. We received a total of ten patients between the ages of 10 and 15.
9-25 | The COVID-19 pandemic has become very alarming in Iraq, with the country currently reporting close to 4,000 new cases every day and around 500 deaths a week. Just over the past month, more than 100,000 cases were identified in the country. And on September 23rd, 5,055 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed, representing the highest daily rate in the country since the beginning of the pandemic. Iraq’s capital Baghdad, is the worst hit city, with almost 30% of the country’s reported cases.

The project was collaborated with “ImpactHK” since June 2020 and was set up at a time when the tightened COVID-19 restrictions were in place, limiting the access of people experiencing homelessness to resources and support.
